I am looking for a more special cracker than the common Ritz and Trisuits. However, I really like the taste of those 2... buttery, flaky, salty. I want a similar more gourmet cracker. I like Breton... any others?

My mother always used Keebler Club crackers, everyone likes them and you can serve them with the fine cheese, wine etc...Additionally water crackers are good but lack that great flavor.

or try these:

I prefer Table Crackers or Water Crackers. The round Gourmet Water Crackers have almost no taste. You don't want the flavor in the cracker as it is only there for texture. All of your flavor should come from the ingredients on the cracker. Caviar and creme fraiche, or something like that. If you are just having the "buds" over for a football game Ritz is fine. If you are doing something classy, put the Ritz crackers in the pantry because there is nothing ritzy about common kiddie crackers. Triscuits and Keebler included.

keebler makes clubhouse crackers, theyre buttery and salted so they taste good with cheese, meat and fruit. i think they also make an assorted box for parties. usually those will be in the bread aisle with breadsticks, but you can also get recommendations in the imported cheese section of a supermarket
