I want to make my first new year's party a success, so I would love some positive comments about this theme. My party theme will be Chinese New Year. We will serve Chinese take out and such. We will eat with chop sticks too! Everyone is to wear Mandarin style pajamas and slippers. Since it will be a slumber party in order to lessen the number of drivers on the road that night. My place will have lanterns and dragons here and there. Of course, lots of pillows to sit on the floor and eat. Here is where I am ordering the decorations and plates for the party. http://www.orientaltrading.com/application?namespace=browse&origin=catalogProducts.jsp&event=link.itemDetails&demandPrefix=12&sku=PT163&prodCatId=378062&mode=Browsing&erec=15&No=16&Ne=90000&sp=true&Ntk=all&Ntx=mode%252bmatchallpartial&N=378062&tabId=PartySupplies&sd=Chinese+New+Year+Party+Theme

I think it sounds like a great party theme. You could pick up some tea drink mixes too. If they are legaly over the age of 21 you could find some chinese beer or other fun drinks. You can get extra take out boxes and put party favors in them for your guests! Maybe even little post party things, individual packs of asprin (sold at gas stations typically) maybe some gum for that awful morning breath a $5 gift certificate for some fast food breakfast maybe too!

I like it. Dont forget the fortune cookies for forecasting what will happen in the next year. That makes it fun too. Have fun.
