I want to have a summer party soon but i need ideas..help? Good description.?

I want to have a summer party for 12-14 year olds. This coming school year i'm going to be in 7th grade so I want to invite 7th graders and soon to be 8th graders. I need to no what kind of food. A theme to do. Some music to listen to. I don't have a pool but i have like a pretty big backyard with a woods. I don't want the party to be boring, so I need some ideas. If you include all that you, and get the best answer you'll get easy point. :) Please I need help fast cause I want to have the summer party soon.
P.S and remember I don't have a pool and I was thinking of having some of the party in my garage, like the food and drinks and maybe a couple of tables to eat.
And i want to have a bonfire when it gets dark.

Try starting the whole thing in the afternoonish. That way they HAVE to leave before there mums say goodnight lol. That way you don't have to glance at you're watch coz the sun will tell you evreything.



Buy a blowup pool. Even if its a small one. Ask everyone to bring bikinis and whatever. You know those super slippy watermats. Try them out. If you don't know what I am on about try google. And waterpisstols big and small and have buckets of water bombs but don't take them out straight away or they will get used up. Seperate into teams and blast eachother in the woods! Have a baracue outside when you are all shivvering and wet! But make sure you look out for the weather on TV.



Hang laterns or outside xmas tree lights outside. So after barbacu you can turn them on and roast marshmellows or somthing. Have a big jug of hot choc and cans of whipped cream you could have a whipped cream fight or somthing lol.



I have to go have dinner now I got loads more ideas but oh well. Hope it all goes fab. Xxx hope I win best answer (hint hint) lol

You should have a party and buy a slip and slide and use inflatable winter or water tubes and slide down them. I've tried it, it's fun! But it's better to use it on a hill, so they don't need to push themselves forward, they just go down. You could also have a scavenger hunt in the woods, with awesome prizes! Also, do some really fun games like, who could make the best obstacle course. You could also have your summer party at a public beach, and play volleyball, or something. Invite a lot of people and even parents, because they like to watch what's going on. Do smoothies as drinks, and BBQ for food. Hot dogs and Hamburgers, and even, if possible - Ribs.

as you grow up you will learn that themed partys are bad ideas

hust hang out around the fire and roast marshmellow and make smores, (since your only in 7th grade) make sure you have music playing too! whatever you like



Dont play games like pin the tail on the donkey or something musical chairs your too grown up for that.



Turn the garage into a dance room have music blasting and people dancing. and have the food outside.



gosh. i cant remeber what i used to do in 7th grade that was like 3 yrs ago.



I would go out and buy a pool a summer party is not fun at all without a pool.

-pop



thats just some basic stuff



dont make the invitations look too kiddish or babiesh make it look grown up so people will start maturing

If you wanna have a summer party then think about what people like u no um... WATER GUN BATTLES or somthin like that.

Food... Then again think about who are coming to the party. Pick everyones favourite food, ask them at skool.

Music, well if the people who are coming 2 ur party like rock then put on Mettalica or Guns N' Roses (do some music research) Thats all I can think of.

go to the dollar store and buy bags of balloons

and a couple of those laundry baskets

and fill the ballons with water

get your friends to help u fill them up

divide them among your friends when your done

go out in the yard or in the street if u live in the city

and have a big water balloon fight

pizza. the music you like & have guest bring cd's. games hide n seek , couples theme, put girls names in a hat and boys names in another. draw a name from each for -3 legged race, egg toss, pass an orange or tennis ball from under your chin, a form of spin the bottle ( kiss on the check) must dance together etc.---- careful with the fire but could be great fun & roast.
