It depends on which bottle you are talking about. The bottle of Jack is completely empty. The bottle of diet coke is half full, and the water bottle is half empty. :)

It really depends on what the bottle contains ~ if it is a bottle of fine wine ~ then it is half-full. If it is a bottle of sour milk ~ then it is half-empty ~ thank heavens, I hate the smell of sour milk.
